Tranquility

Tranquility is Part II of Miniature Naturescapes and was composed specifically for The Alzheimers Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI), an organization led by Ami Simms that helps raise awareness of patients suffering from this disease. Each quilt has its own web page on Priority Alzheimers Quilts and the money the quilt raises for Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative will be posted. All profit is used to fund Alzheimer’s research. Please visit http://www.alzquilts.org/index.html for more information. This piece represents a finch or warbler of some sort in autumn and somehow evokes a tranquil feeling that we get when life cycles become dormant in the fall. Donated to AAQI in memory of Robert M. Forrister, October 2008.
