October 30 – November 7, 2010: International Quilt Festival Special Exhibits in Houston, Texas Include Beneath The Surface “Treasured Waters,” West Coast Wonders With “Ruby In The Emerald Forest,” Text On Textiles With “Welcome To My Garden” and “Pixel Perfect” in Group Quilt World of Beauty Show. On Wednesday, November 3, Ami Simms will kick off the Alzheimers Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI) auction where Tranquility can be purchased along with so many more wonderful art quilts. Please join the cause and help support AAQI. All money goes to research for Alzheimers patients.

November 6, 2010: Come join me at Quilting Arts Make It University Open Studios from 12-2 p.m. at the International Quilt Festival where I will be demonstrating how to make 3Dimensional fiber art trees. Should be a lot of fun! You can also find me at the SAQA booth on Thursday, November 4 from 1-3 p.m. and Saturday, November 6 from 2-4 p.m. Stop by and say hello. I would love to meet you!
